The HORTOSOL Premium Heat mat is especially designed for the use with propagators and terrariums and uses the technology of long-wave infrared radiation.
This simulates heat from natural sunlight and mainly heats objects and living things.
Thus, due to the indirect thermal radiation there is only a small increase in the ambient temperature which has a positive effect of an almost constant relative humidity.
To meet the high requirements, the heat mat is covered all over with a protective conductor and is made of water- and rotproof PVC.
